The wait is finally over as Motorola is launching its much waited mid-range smartphone Moto X Style in India on October 08. The device was originally unveiled in July along with Moto X Play for international markets and was expected to be launched in India market on September 15.
Along with the teasers on Flipkart, its exclusive online retail partner the company recently held a #Beautility contest (Beauty Utility) on social media to promote the Moto X Style, and has now sent the invites with the same hashtag for a press event in New Delhi on Thursday.
Flipkart, the exclusive online sales partner of Motorola for its Moto phones has also created a dedicated page for the Moto X Style that says "#Beautility lies in being free. Get ready to party in 15 minutes flat with the Moto X Style on the 8th of October, 2015!"
Moto X Style features a 5.7-inch QuadHD (1440x2560p) display and runs on the latest Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS backed by 3GB RAM.
Moto X Style will be available in 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB storage variants, all of which will support external storage expansion via microSD card upto 128GB.
If we talk about its camera features this set has the 21 Megapixel rear camera with an f/2.0 aperture capable of shooting 4K videos. The front facing camera comes with the resolution of 5 Megapixel accompanied by a flash. The device is powered by a 3,630 mAh battery which as per the company's claim could last for up to 30 hours on a single charge.
The company last month launched the Moto X Play in India, priced at Rs. 18,499 for the 16GB variant, and Rs. 19,999 for the 32GB variant. The expected price for the device in India is Rs 26,000.
